Rana Issa
Math Teacher
Hello, wonderful families! My name is Rana Issa, and I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Palestinian educator from Jordan, with a profound commitment to early childhood development.
My educational journey has equipped me with a strong foundation, including a Master's degree and a professional diploma in teaching methodologies. I am also honored to be a fellow at Harvard University's Middle East Professional Learning Institute, which continuously enriches my understanding of global best practices in education. Furthermore, I hold a valid teaching license and a specialized certificate in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, allowing me to support diverse learners effectively.
I believe that kindergarten should be a magical place where curiosity is sparked and learning is an adventure. My teaching philosophy centers on play-based learning, where children explore, discover, and build foundational skills in an engaging, joyful way. I am deeply committed to nurturing each child's individual potential by recognizing and adopting to their unique learning styles and needs. This ensures that every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
I am passionate about embracing everything new in education, constantly seeking innovative methods to create a dynamic and enriching classroom experience.
My goal is to cultivate a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment where your child feels safe, excited to learn, and ready to confidently embark on their educational journey."
I hope that you're as excited as I am for this semester! We've got a lot of great activities ahead.
